The ideal candidate will have a passion of cooking and experience in catering or restaurant settings, with a keen eye for detail and organisation. This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop culinary skills and gain valuable kitchen experience. Duties include;

· Assisting in preparing ingredients and assembling dishes according to specified recipes and standards

· Support the cooking process by following instructions from head chefs or kitchen managers

· Ensuring all food safety protocols are adhered to during preparation and handling of ingredients

· Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of workstations, utensils, and equipment

· Help with portioning, plating, and garnishing dishes for service

· Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment at all times

Successful applicants should be friendly, honest and reliable, with the ability to work both alone and as part of a wider fast paced catering team. Previous knowledge and experience of catering, cooking, or restaurant environments is highly desirable, with familiarity of food safety and hygiene standards. Communication skills to collaborate with colleagues along with strong knowledge of food prep techniques and meal assembly are key. 

The ability to be flexible, with weekend working on a rota basis is essential.

An exciting opportunity has arisen within our catering team for a full-time Chef de Partie. This position will be working in the Walled Garden Restaurant in our catering division which now makes up the largest portion of our staff, consisting of a 290-seat coffee shop & restaurant, deli, kiosks and table service restaurant, The Bothy.

It is essential that applicants should have experience working as part of a large catering team within a similar high-volume, fast-paced setting. All applicants should be friendly, honest and flexible, with high standards of food presentation and a good knowledge of traditional cooking. 40 hours per week, with weekend work on a rota basis essential, no split shifts or regular evening shifts. Part time would be considered for the correct applicant(s)

We are looking for flexible, hardworking and enthusiastic applicants to join our expanding catering team. Duties will be varied, but focused on 'Front of House', with key roles including taking customer orders and serving/clearing tables, all whilst delivering first class customer service.
