By Car

We are located only two miles from Junction 35 of the M1. Take the A629 from the motorway then turn left onto B6086 Thorpe Hesley. Go straight on across the painted roundabout to join Thorpe Street. Follow Thorpe Street until it joins up with Hague Lane. We are at the top of the hill on the right hand side.

The Trans Pennine Trail (TPT) links into Barnsley on railway paths, whilst the main route offers different options for travelling south. The Elsecar Greenway passes through Elsecar Industrial Heritage Centre, whilst the Timberland Trail goes via the village of Wortley. A choice of three routes present themselves via Wharncliffe Woods, the historic Wentworth estate or Sheffield’s Forest Loop (through Westwood Country Park and Greno Wood).
