An additional exciting opportunity has arisen to join our team as a Bakery/Patisserie Chef within our catering department. The division makes up the largest portion of our staff, now consisting of our 290-seat coffee shop & restaurant, The Bothy, Courtyard Kitchen Deli, The Pantry and various 'satellite' kiosks across our 16 acre site.

In this position, as part of the wider team you will be directly responsible for the day-to-day running of our on-site bakery, providing the delicious cakes and sweet treats we have become known for.

Full Time (40 Hours per Week)
(Part Time considered for the right candidate)

C. £28,000 dependant on experience

Applicants must be able to demonstrate high levels of precision and quality in cake finishing and decorating, with previous experience in such a field being essential to the role (in either a commercial or domestic setting).

Applicants should be friendly, honest and reliable as well as flexible in their work, with the ability to work both alone and as part of a larger catering team, working well in a high-pressure and fast-paced environment, all while maintaining the high standards set by the owners and management. Weekend work on a rota basis will be required.

This role is for a passionate and enthusiastic gardener who thrives in a high-profile setting where detail, creativity & presentation matter.

Reporting to the owner, you will be responsible for;

- Leading and inspiring colleagues and a team of volunteers

- Overseeing the maintenance and ongoing development of our Historic RHS Partner Gardens

- Ensuring consistently high horticultural standards

Full Time (40 Hours per Week)

Circa £30,000 (Negotiable for the right candidate)

Applicants must be a knowledgeable and passionate horticulturalist with proven plant knowledge and strong practical experience. The ability to inspire and manage a happy, motivated team is key, whilst continuing the evolution of the gardens with commitment to high standard.

Must be friendly, honest and reliable with excellent customer service skills. Flexibility to work alone or as part of a larger team is key, with weekend working on a rota basis being essential. Being physically fit will be useful as heavy lifting and manual labour form a large part of working in our hands on and practical outdoor team.

This position will be working across our catering division which now makes up the largest portion of our staff, consisting of a 290-seat coffee shop & restaurant, deli, kiosks and table service restaurant, The Bothy.

Full Time

It is essential that applicants should have experience working as part of a large catering team within a similar high-volume, fast-paced setting. All applicants should be friendly, honest and flexible, with high standards of food presentation and a good knowledge of traditional cooking. Patisserie skills would also be a distinct advantage. Weekend work on a rota basis will be required, no split shifts or regular evening shifts.
